Inspiring future generations at CNP Professional

In what has been a very busy week for the Horizon Fitness RT squad, 9 of the riders have taken the time to have a questions and answers session with the Velocity - 3in1- CNP squad.

“Having a mutual partner in CNP, it was a fantastic opportunity for us to get the two squads together and let the young lads ask questions to the team and find out possible ways to take the next step in the sport. We also had Katie Noakes with us who’s a fantastic prospect for the future” said Team Manager Stefan Wyman about the day.

“Katie and the VeloCity riders were really interested and asked lots of questions about the different ways to make it to the top of the sport. Hopefully there are a few ‘Cavs’ amongst then. I’m pretty sure they’ve gone away with a few new ideas to help them in 2011.”

“We had an excellent day. All of our riders have taken part in a seminar with Kerry Kayes, owner of CNP Professional, and I think everyone’s learnt a lot. It’s impossible to learn everything you need to about protein, energy and recovery in one sitting, but all the riders have gone away with a lot more knowledge than they arrived with” continued Wyman.

“Today is meant to kick-start the riders thinking about how they can get the best out of themselves, and ensure they focus specifically on their nutrition both in terms of their diet and their nutrition products. Michael Coughlan then took all the riders through the complete range of CNP products to ensure they understand what is available and how to use it. These products are outstanding and are going to help give us an edge in training and racing. The squad will be using the product from now on, and providing their feedback. We’ll ensure our nutrition setup is perfect during our training camp in April, together with CNP. We’ll then be able to race safe in the knowledge that in this area, the riders are getting the best out of themselves.”
