Women's team takes gold at cycling World Cup

Congratulations to the Great Britain women's pursuit team who won the first gold medal at the cycling World Cup, which took place in Manchester at the weekend. 

The team, incorporating Joanna Rowsell and Sarah Storey (Horizon Fitness Racing Team) and Wendy Houvenaghel broke the British record in a time of three minutes, 19.757 seconds with their win. That's just 0.188 seconds off the world record of 3:19.569!
