Casco Helmets for the Horizon Fitness RT
The Horizon Fitness Racing Team will be using Casco Helmets and eyewear in 2011. The UK's leading women's team will be wearing the Casco Ares road helmet, as well as using the Warp Carbon helmet on the track.
"These helmets are fantastic, and the team is going to look great while keeping safe this season and next. Casco has put their faith in us by partnering with us for the next 2 seasons. That's good news for everyone, and we can work closely with them to ensure our team keeps at the front with helmet technology and development" commented Team Manager, Stefan Wyman, about the link.
"To top things off, we've got matching eyewear being supplied by Casco. The team is going to use the SX-20 competition glasses. They really do look perfect with our new image for 2011. Riders like Chris Hoy were using the helmets in the recent track World Cup in Manchester, and you can't get a much better endorsement for a product than that!" continued Wyman.
"All of our riders will be using them from the very first races this season. We're starting with a split team between the UK and Europe. We've got 4 races in late April and early May in Belgium and Luxembourg, including a team time trial. It's a tough start to the season, but everyone is very motivated and looking forward to the team training camp at the Mpire Cycling Centre in Italy, which begins on 2 April."
