We use high quality, commercial grade
Continuous Duty Motors in our
treadmills. These motors provide
continuous power at any desired
speed. They run at a lower RPM than
most, resulting in less wear and tear to
ensure reliability and long term quality.

Motor Controller
As the brain power of the treadmill, the motor controller
communicates with the Pulse With Modulation (PWM) on
how much power to send to the belt to keep the treadmill
running at the required speed. For example, more power will
be required to keep the belt running at 5mph with an 18
stone user than an 8 stone user.
Responsive
Your treadmill will instantly react to any input changes you make.
Smooth
PWM is the only way to ensure a smooth workout, free from

Elevation Motor
The elevation motor is a high quality
500lb thrust motor, powerful enough to
carry the user’s weight with ease even at
the highest elevation point. The motor
uses direct thrusting power to lift the
deck and has a very reliable leverage
system ensuring smooth and controlled elevation.

Digital Drive Control System
The Digital Drive Control System is a
continuous duty motor that runs at a
lower RPM for a smooth, quieter
workout. It works with a High Speed
Digital Processor that responds to each
footstep to ensure a smooth workout.
A separate Elevation Motor delivers 500lbs of direct lifting
power quietly and efficiently. |

Belt and Deck
The running area of the treadmill
should be large enough to make the
user feel comfortable even at top
speeds; some of our treadmills are as
spacious as 60"x 20". All Horizon
treadmills use up to 1” thick decks to
provide maximum comfort and support.

Our tapered rollers have been specially

running belt and a centralised guiding

Cushioning
Elastomers of varying softness/
thickness are strategically positioned
between the deck and the steel frame to
reduce impact in the running area. This
